there's something in me that hates these type of things. yet there's something about me that likes them.

i'm talking about these bloggy things. a way for a person to publish their thoughts to the "world". a way to organize their thoughts into coherent sentences and paragraphs. perhaps a way for people to create an alternate reality a little easier than the real one.

it's like making yourself vulnerable... in a safe way. it's a little hypocritical at times. who likes to be a hypocrite? no one, that's who.

i hope to be able to look back at what i've written and think to myself, "man, self, you were really dumb! i can't believe you wrote that." it shows growth.
